Dr. Muhammad Tariq is an academician, researcher, trainer and Library professional, having more than 22 years of experience in the LIS/IM field. He has been teaching at the M.Phil and PhD levels since 2014. Moreover, he has supervised 26 M.Phil theses and 4 are still under his supervision. As a researcher, he has published 28 research articles and also attended 14 national/international conferences and presented his papers. He has conducted many trainings in different institutes at the national level. His areas of interest are Artificial Intelligence, innovation, leadership, communication, online information resources and soft skills. Currently working at COMSATS University, Lahore Pakistan. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Information Management Sciences (IJIMS) and also the chief editor of CUI Lahore Newsletter.

Faiza Bashir works as an academician, researcher, and library professional, having 20 years of experience in the LIS field. She is self-motivated, passionate, and a committed professional in the discipline of information management. Faiza is currently working as Assistant Professor/Head of the Department of Library Science, Higher Education Department, Government of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. Her career is a beautiful amalgamation of librarianship and teaching. Ms. Bashir has dozens of publications, including Impact Factor and HEC-recognized national and international journals, conference proceedings, and book chapters on her credit. She also got the opportunity to network and learn professional skills from international community members at the University of Toronto, where she works as an IVGS. Being a library professional and academician, she has always volunteered herself and worked with the LIS community in the last few years, such as Urdu/Punjabi library technical services at Tavakoli Collection of Persian Archive, University of Toronto, Canada; ASIS&T Winter School for Enhancing Research Skills 2023, etc. She regularly presents her research in different National and International conferences. Faiza, working as Journal Editorial Board Member & Reviewer for many National and International reputed Journals.


Past -Chair (SIG-InfoLearn):Nosheen Fatima Warraich is a professor at the Institute of Information Management, University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. She has been serving as the Director of the Women Development Centre at Punjab University. She is the recipient of a Fulbright post-doc fellowship at the University at Albany-SUNY (State University of New York), NY. (2015-16), the ASIS&T New Leader Award in 2017 and the ASIS&T James M. Cretsos Leadership Award in 2023. Dr. Warraich is the chair of SIG-III, ASIS&T. She is the Editor of the Pakistan Journal of Information Management & Libraries, Associate Editor of Heliyon (IF= 3.776), and Editorial Board Member of Libri (IF=1.0). She has 100+ articles on her credit with 80.016 Impact Factor and has been published in prestigious journals and conferences in the field.

Dr. Priya Vaidya is a Senior Program Leader in the "Centre of Excellence-Education" under the Aspirational Bharat Collaborative of the Piramal Foundation. She has also been recognised as a MAXQDA Professional Trainer (Qualitative Data Analysis Software), the Microsoft Innovative Educator 2023-24, a Microsoft Certified Educator for Technology Literacy for Educators – 21st Century Learning Design, and also a 'Student Member' of the Editorial Board of Information Matters. Her areas of interest are Qualitative Research, Educational Policies, Service Quality, ICT Applications in Education and Research, Bibliometrics, and Systematic Reviews. Regarding her work experience, she is presently engaged with the Madrasa Education Program in alignment with NEP-2020

and NIPUN-Bharat, and emphasizing the need for blended education in Madrasas by introducing different Live-Action Projects (LAP) like fully functional Library Set-Up, Project-based Learning, etc. Apart from this, she worked as a 'Library Intern', deputed as a 'Semi-Professional Assistant' on leave Vacancy at Maulana Azad Library, AMU and handled the Seminar Library Automation Project using LibSys 7.0 (ILMS) at the Department of Petroleum Studies, Zakir Hussain College of Engineering & Technology, Aligarh Muslim University. Apart from this, during her PhD research, she was voluntarily assigned to a teaching project to teach 'Library & Information Services' to the MSc/MBA students of the F/o Agriculture Sciences, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh.  She has a few research publications to her credit. She has been conferred with different awards viz, Best SIG-IEP Logo Award in 2023, the Women Researcher Award-2023, BEST Research Paper Award-2022 during an International Conference in Chennai, and the first position in the Best Student Paper Award- 2021, organized by KELPRO Bulletin. She has published and presented research papers at national and international conferences.

Ibrahim Ajibola Ogunkanmi is a dedicated librarian and educator currently serving as the Electronic Resources Librarian at the University Library of Hillside University of Science & Technology in Okemesi, Ekiti State, Nigeria. He holds a Master of Library and Information Science and a Bachelor of Library and Information Studies from the University of Ibadan, providing him with a robust foundation in library management and information services. Ibrahim is passionate about utilising technology to enhance information access and promote research literacy among users. He has also held several roles, including college librarian at Imam Malik College, where he significantly improved library standards to meet international benchmarks. In addition to his professional roles, Ibrahim actively engages in community service, mentoring young leaders and contributing to educational initiatives. A motivational speaker and advocate for lifelong learning, he is committed to fostering an enriching educational environment through collaboration and innovation while maintaining memberships in several professional associations

I am an independent researcher with a BA in Medical Librarianship and an MA in Library and Information Science. I earned my Ph.D. in Information Science, specializing in Knowledge & Information Retrieval, from the University of Tehran in 2020. In 2019, I spent six months as a visiting researcher at the University of Amsterdam (UvA). My research interests include information and knowledge organization, information retrieval, ontologies, user information behavior, public libraries, medical & health librarianship, and scientometrics. My current activities include teaching at universities, conducting courses in public libraries, and leading workshops on information retrieval and research for various fields. In 2024, I was proud to be recognized as one of the winners of the SIG-III 2024 InfoShare Award and I will continue my collaboration with SIG-EduLearn as a Newsletter Office

Dr Anam Jamal Ansari is working as a Research Associate in the Department of Library & Information Science at Aligarh Muslim University on a Major Research Project of the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR). Anam's journey in the world of library and information science has been marked by excellence from the very beginning. As a testament to her dedication and academic prowess, she was awarded the prestigious Gold Medal for securing the highest marks in Library Classification (Theory and Practice) during her M.L.I.Sc. program. Her thirst for knowledge and passion for the field became evident early on when she earned a Gold Medal in her B.Lib.I.Sc, a testament to her commitment to academic excellence. In recognition of her outstanding academic abilities, Anam qualified for the UGC-JRF (University Grants Commission - Junior Research Fellowship) in 2018. Her research acumen and dedication to her work led to her recent achievement of being upgraded to a UGC-SRF (Senior Research Fellowship) in 2021. These accomplishments underscore her potential to make significant contributions to the academic community. Anam Jamal Ansari's passion for research and commitment to advancing the field of library and information science are further exemplified through her numerous scholarly activities. She has presented her research findings at both national and international conferences, showcasing her ability to engage with the global academic community and disseminate her valuable insights. Furthermore, Anam has an impressive record of publications to her credit, further solidifying her status as a dedicated and productive scholar. Her contributions to the body of knowledge in library and information science highlight her commitment to pushing the boundaries of the field. Anam's Ph.D. research focuses on security issues and disaster management in libraries, a critical and timely area of study. Her work in this domain reflects her commitment to addressing the challenges faced by libraries in safeguarding information resources and responding to emergencies effectively.

Mohd Ashraf Bhat is a Ph.D. scholar in the Department of Library and Information Science at the University of Delhi, India. He holds a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Kashmir and has also completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Automated and Digital Library Management (PGDADLM) from the School of Open Learning, University of Delhi. His research interests include journal article retraction, publication ethics, scientometrics, bibliometrics, and altmetrics. At the University of Delhi, he has also served as a guest faculty member, teaching practical cataloging in the Department of Library and Information Science. He is a recipient of the prestigious Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) awarded by the University Grants Commission (UGC), India. Mohd Ashraf Bhat was honored with the Best Paper Award at the 6th International Conference of Asian Libraries, held at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).
