Developing Country Resident Discounts

Individuals residing in developing nations are eligible to receive a discount of up to 100% off of their ASIS&T member dues. ASIS&T uses the World Bank Adjusted Net National Income data to determine the tiers that countries fall into. All countries with a US $10k or higher rating qualify for regular membership. A list of countries that fall into the Tier 1 and Tier 2 developing country categories is below:

Discounts:

Tier 1: Individuals qualifying for Tier 1 membership receive a 60-65% discount on their member dues depending on their membership category.

Tier 2: Individuals qualifying for Tier 2 membership are eligible to receive a 100% discount on member dues for their first two years of membership then an 80-90% discount on their member dues thereafter depending on their membership category. Tier 2 residents may apply for two years of free membership HERE.

Eligibility:

Only current residents of Tier 1 and Tier 2 Countries are eligible for these discounts. Anyone temporarily resident in a non-Tier 1 or Tier 2 country but a citizen of a Tier 1 or 2 country must pay regular membership dues while they are residing away from their country but may change membership categories when they return home by emailing info@asist.org.

Individuals who have already received two years of complimentary Tier 2 membership are not eligible to renew or rejoin as an unpaid member. These individuals may apply for a membership scholarship or join as a paying member.
