Oceania Chapter

The Oceania Chapter of the Association of Information Science and Technology was established in 2023. Our regional chapter aims to facilitate professional development and networking among ASIS&T members located in the countries of Australia, New Zealand, and the Philippines.

About Our Chapter

The purpose of the Chapter is to provide an organization through which members of ASIS&T located within the Oceania region may participate in and carry forward the programs and purposes of ASIS&T. The chapter was established in 2023 when Australia, New Zealand, and the Philippines were removed from what was then called the Asia Pacific Chapter in order to better meet the needs of ASIS&T members in the Oceania region.

How to Join

To be a member, one first needs to be a member of the Association for Information Science & Technology (ASIS&T). When completing the Membership Application Form, select the special interest group (SIG) of your choice.
