NEASIS&T 2025 Annual Conference Thank You!

On behalf of the NEASIS&T Executive Committee and Programming Committees, thank you so much to everyone who attended, presented at, and helped organize our 2025 NEASIS&T Annual Conference. It was a wonderful event! We will share a link to the recordings on iConnect once they are available.

NEASIS&T Non-Competitive Travel Grants for 2025 ASIS&T Annual

Our chapter is planning to fund a number of non-competitive travel grants for NEASIS&T chapter members who live, work, or attend school in one of the states covered by our chapter geographic region (Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont) and who will be presenting an in-person paper, poster, panel, alternative event, or pre-meeting workshop at the 2025 ASIS&T Annual conference in Washington, D.C. These grants will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, and more details about the application process will be posted on our chapter website and iConnect sites later this summer.

Please note: this grant is separate from our competitive Conference Support Award application, which will also be announced soon.

If you are considering submitting a proposal for ASIS&T Annual, you can find more information and key dates on the ASIS&T website here.

NEASIS&T Survey

Our general survey will be sent out later this month. Please keep an eye out and share your thoughts and ideas with us. Your input will help inform future chapter activities and events!

Awards Committee Call for New Members

We will be sending out a call soon for new members for this year’s Conference Support Awards Committee. Members will help publicize the awards application, review submissions, and select the 2025 awardees. Please consider volunteering. Your efforts will help celebrate excellence in our community and support the continuing professional development of our colleagues across the region.

Thank you as always for your commitment to and participation in our chapter! If anyone would like to get more involved or share ideas with us, please feel free to reach out to us on iConnect or via email to neasist@gmail.com.
