Plans for the 88th ASIS&T Annual Meeting are well underway, and we are thrilled to welcome you to Washington, D.C.! The meeting will take place from November 14-18, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City. This year's theme is "Difficult Conversations: The Role of Information Science in the Age of Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence." 

Event Highlights: 

  • Pre-Meeting Workshops: Friday and Saturday, November 14-15. Details available in June when registration opens. 
  • Student Reception: Saturday, November 15, from 5:15-6:15 p.m. 
  • Opening Plenary: Sunday, November 16, starting with a continental breakfast at 8:00 a.m., followed by the plenary session from 9:00-10:30 a.m. 
  • Educational Sessions: A full day of sessions on Sunday, concluding with a Welcome Reception.

Call For Papers 

We encourage you to submit a proposal for a session. Detailed instructions and templates for each submission type are available on the Annual Meeting website. 2025 Annual Meeting Call for Proposals along with the full Submission Instructions and Policies are now available on the ASIS&T Website. All presentations will need to be done in person, with specific circumstances for virtual presentations listed on the call for proposals website. 

Submission Deadlines: 

  • February 4: Submission Portal Opens 
  • April 9: Submission Deadline for Workshops, Symposia, Papers, Panels, and Alternative Events 
  • June 3: Submission Deadline for Posters 
  • June 9: Submission Deadline for Doctoral Colloquium and Early Career Colloquium

We also have several upcoming webinars, free for members, and encourage you to consider submitting a webinar proposal.
