Asia Chapter
Asia Chapter Name
The Asia-Pacific Chapter has changed its name to the Asia Chapter. When the ASIS&T Asia Pacific Chapter was originally established, it included the countries of Australia, the Philippines, and New Zealand. The Oceania Chapter was launched in the Fall of 2023, which now includes those three countries. Therefore, to more accurately reflect the countries included, the Asia Pacific Chapter will now be known as the Asia Chapter.
Asia Chapter Annual Regional Meeting
On December 23, 2023, the ASIS&T Asia Chapter held its annual meeting. The conference's theme, "The Inheritance, Integration, and Innovation of Information Science in the Context of Artificial Intelligence Development," seeks to promote information science's advancement as well as its use and innovation in the artificial intelligence field.
