Hi All,

I am excited to share with you that InfoShare of SIG-III is going to organize an event with the title "Humans of the Library". This event will take place virtually on February 16, 2024, at 10:00 AM (EST).

ASIS&T has been there for many years and there are member libraries and librarians from around the world. The librarians will have stories, stories of their struggles, their successes, leadership stories, stories contributing to the success of patrons, stories of innovation they have started, and above all a lot of wisdom exists out there. Most of the members know each other through profiles including qualifications and designations, which portray very limited information. The idea of Humans of the library is to make available an online interaction space, where there are potential storytellers (librarians who have compelling stories and experiences) and there are listeners. So this space facilitates deeper understanding, acknowledging diversity, connection, and learning.
