Libraries in the Digital Age (LIDA) address the changing and challenging environment for libraries, information systems and services in the digital world. LIDA is an international biennial conference that brings together researchers, educators, practitioners, and developers from all over the world in a forum for personal exchanges, discussions, and learning, made easier by being held in memorable environs.
This year’s theme is “Social Justice, Community Engagement and Information Institutions: Access, Diversity, and Inclusion”. This year’s LIDA conference will be held in Zadar, Croatia (13 – 15 June 2018). Zadar is a city of monuments, surrounded by historical ramparts, a treasury of the archaeological and monumental riches of ancient and medieval times, Renaissance and many contemporary architectural achievements such as the first Sea Organ in the world. Also, the city of Zadar is the winner of “European best destination” award in 2016.
Invited speakers for this year’s LIDA conference are Nicole A. Cooke, PhD from University of Illinois, USA and Tomi Samek, PhD from University of Alberta, Canada. We would be honoured if you would register and participate in this year’s conference. You will have the opportunity attend great sessions lead by professionals from all over the world, expand your knowledge in information sciences and discuss trending issues in the information age. We are looking forward to your registration and participation.
