Summer of Tours: Library Media Center Tour at Dublin Schools

We kick off our Summer of Tours with a tour and talk presented by Megan Dimmerling, Library Media Specialist at Thomas Elementary.Thomas Elementary is part of the Dublin School District and is a K-5 school with over 800 students.

We will learn about the services that the Library Media Center provides to students, including technology, classes, and the library’s collection. Megan will also discuss how students use the collection, as well as how she maintains and catalogs it and acquires new materials. We will also get a chance to see Thomas Elementary’s state-of-the-art library media center.

Megan Dimmerling taught language arts and special education in a middle school for five years before earning her M.L.I.S. from Kent State University. She has served as the Library Media Specialist at Thomas Elementary for seven years.
