Student Representative needed for 2016-2017 year!

CO-ASIS&T is looking for a new student representative to serve on the board for the upcoming year. Student’s help the board with general management of the group, plan events, and serve as a liaison and voice for local students. Gain leadership experience, network with your future colleagues, and become more involved with local libraries!

Students who serve on the board are reimbursed for one year of student membership with ASIS&T, a diverse library community with many opportunities for leadership and networking. The student representative is expected to attend our monthly board meetings in Columbus on the second Thursday of the month at 7:30am, and will serve a one year term, beginning in November 2016. Students have the opportunity to serve on other committees and advance to other elected board roles. Students should be currently enrolled in an MLIS program, or scheduled to begin an MLIS program no later than the Spring 2017 semester.
