Annual Business Meeting at Ohioana Library
CO-ASIS&T invites both members and non-members to a tour of the Ohioana Library in conjunction with our Annual Meeting.
The Ohioana Library Association was founded in 1929 by Ohio First Lady Martha Kinney Cooper to collect, preserve, and promote the works of Ohio authors, artists, and musicians. Today the Library’s holdings include more than 45,000 books by or about Ohioans; 10,000 pieces of sheet music; biographical files on notable Ohioans; personal papers of Ohio authors and artists; and numerous scrapbooks created by Ohio civic and cultural organizations.
CO-ASIS&T will provide heavy hors d’oeuvres, so be sure to arrive early. Our brief annual business meeting will precede a tour and presentation by Ohioana staff about this special library housed within the State Library of Ohio building in the booming Italian Village area.
