Student internships at Berkman Center for Internet and Society

Attention students at all levels! The Berkman Center for Internet and Society at Harvard University in Cambridge, MA has issued a call for applications for student interns for the summer semester. Applications are due by February 16th for full-time (35 hours per week) internships taking place from June 2nd to August 8th, 2014. Prospective interns should be

passionate about the promise of the Internet. Finding connected and complementary research inquiries among their diverse backgrounds, students represent all levels of study, are being trained in disciplines across the board, and come from universities all over the world to tackle issues related to the core of Berkman’s research agenda, including law, technology, innovation, and knowledge; the relationships between Internet and civic activity; and the intersection of technology, learning, and development. Summer interns jump head first into the swirl of the Berkman universe, where they are deeply and substantively involved in our research projects and efforts.

More details are available in the full internship announcement at the Berkman Center’s Web site, including details of requirements, eligibility, and potential projects interns can work on this summer. Those with questions should first check out the FAQ provided by the Berkman Center; questions still not addressed can be e-mailed to Rebecca Tabasky, rtabasky@cyber.law.harvard.edu. Good luck to all who apply!
