ASIS&T SIG SI is the Special Interest Group for Social Informatics of the Association for Information Science and Technology. SIG SI brings together researchers who are interested in the social aspects of computerization, including the roles of ICT in social and organizational change, the uses of IT in social contexts, and the ways that the social organization of IT is influenced by social forces and social practices.
