iConference 2014 Call for Participation posted
The iConference 2014 Call for Participation has been posted. Deadlines are in August and September, with the conference in Berlin Mar 4-7, 2014:
The ninth annual iConference will take place 4-7 March, 2014, at the Berlin School of Library and Information Science at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. The four days will include peer-reviewed Papers, Notes, Posters, Workshops and Sessions for Interaction and Engagement. Also included are a Doctoral Student Colloquium and an Early Career Colloquium. Keynote addresses will be given by Tony Hey of Microsoft Research and Melissa Terras of the Department of Information Studies, University College London.

- June 2013: we begin accepting submissions via ConfTool
- 15 August 2013: deadline for Papers
- 26 August 2013: deadline for Doctoral Colloquium applications
- 4 September 2013: deadline for Workshop and Sessions for Interaction and Engagement proposals
- 18 September 2013: deadline for Notes and Posters
- Early October 2013: Doctoral Colloquium decisions announced
- Mid-October 2013: decisions announced for Papers, Notes, Posters, Workshops and SIEs
- Mid-October 2013: Registration opens
- 20 November 2013: Final versions due for Papers, Posters, Workshops and SIEs
- 5 December 2013: Final versions due for Notes
- 4 March 2014: Conference begins
